LITHGOW COMMUNITY
PROJECTS INC.

Lithgow Community Projects (LCP) provides support, case work, advocacy, information and collaboration with other services to single adults, families, and young people (16 +) who are homeless, at risk of homelessness and/or have experienced or are experiencing domestic and family violence.

We work from dignity driven, client lead, strengths based, trauma and culturally informed frameworks to work alongside people to achieve safe, stable housing and to live free from violence and abuse.

LCP works with a range of organisations to help those in need find appropriate housing and safe temporary accommodation.

We offer support to women and children that have experienced domestic and family violence. This support includes emergency accommodation, counselling, safety planning and finding long term housing.

Lithgow Community Projects works with various organisations and funding bodies to participate and lead community based projects that aim to educate, inform and support those in need.

TEAMWORK

We are committed to being respectful of each other’s strengths and differences. We encourage all members and staff to reflect on how their actions impact upon themselves, their decision making and their colleagues, and seek out support and development as necessary.
